mousesports and FlipSid3 further complicate ELEAGUE's Group E by also trading maps in the next set of matches (19-16 on Train for mouz and 16-6 on Cobblestone for FlipSid3).
The fifth week of ELEAGUE's group play continued with a Group E showdown between MOUZ and FlipSid3, two European teams who have a long history of going the long mile when playing against each other.
A triple kill from mousesports star Nikola "NiKo" Kovač quickly gave the mostly German team an early lead on Train, but it was actually FlipSid3 who came out swinging with the superior T-side and finished the half up 9-6 (which included Yegor "markeloff" Markelov pulling off a triple kill clutch on the final round of the half).
chrisJ played a large role in mouz's overtime win on Train
FlipSid3 claimed the second pistolround on their CT side due to time running out and Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy's team moved up to 12-7 before the pace of the game slowed and mouz slowly began to crawl their way back, helped by actions from NiKo and Timo "Spiidi" Richter.
With the score at 12-12, FlipSid3 managed to win a force buy with just P250s and Five-Sevens and the next round saw veteran markeloff pick up a quad kill with the AWP and moved FlipSid3 forward to 14-12 and thus force a timeout. Despite FlipSid3 taking match point, mousesports fought back and a quad kill from Chris "chrisJ" de Jong brought the game to overtime.
Overtime was mouz's court and ball as the German-Dutch-Bosnian team simply outclassed FlipSid3 and took the first map in the best-of-two 19-16.

The second map was Cobblestone and FlipSid3 took the first pistolround on their CT-side before mousesports picked up the first gunround and seemed poised to equalise. However, FlipSid3 still bought up and a triple kill from Georgi "WorldEdit" Yaskin saw the Ukrainian-Russian-Finn team pull ahead, going up as far as 8-1 before a pause halted the momentum of the first half.
With WorldEdit constantly picking up kills on FlipSid3's defense (and Jan "wayLander" Rahkonen not far behind), FlipSid3 ultimately finished the first half up 10-5 (although a late mousesports comeback courtesy of NiKo and chrisJ did net them a couple of rounds).
WorldEdit had a throwback performance on Cobblestone
FlipSid3 simply proved to be the better side on Cobblestone however as the second half saw them win the T-side pistolround and claim the nearly all the remaining rounds to take the map 16-6.
